The route leads out of Pfronten into the hilly foothills of the Alps, locally also called the "Ländle". When passing through the small villages, you always have the Alpine foreland in view and can enjoy a little refreshment at the bathing lakes in summer.

From Pfronten-Kappel follow the field path towards Rehbichel. Between Kappel and Rehbichel, turn left towards Hertingen, where you then turn right to Kögelweiher. At Kögelweiher, go past on the left to then reach Attlesee via the field path to the left. You also pass Attlesee on the left until you reach Thal. After that, head towards Rindegg to get from there through Schicken to Hertingen, before riding back to Pfronten-Kappel. The cycle paths are mostly farm tracks.
