Shared cycle and pedestrian path on its own track that follows the old railway. Mostly paved, flat, and shaded route that winds through the heart of Veneto.
Along its 70 km, the Treviso - Ostiglia offers accommodation, rest and refreshment areas, bike rental points, and services for cycle tourists.
The cycle path runs east-west and follows the route of a former railway line. The recovery of the track is complete from Treviso up to Montegalda and additional kilometers between Montegalda and Cologna Veneta will soon be available. Completion of the route is planned for 2025.
It has the advantage of being a long flat wooded strip, on its own track, mostly paved; only the section in the province of Treviso (about 15 km) is on stabilized gravel dirt. Another characteristic of the path is the pleasant succession of railway stations, signal cabins, or canton houses.
It is one of the main routes of Veneto cycle tourism, defined as Route no. 5 in the official regional signage (I5). This cycle path enables branching off to other important Veneto paths such as: the Sile cycle path (Treviso - Jesolo), the Ezzelini Path (Asolo) and the St. Anthony Way (Padua), the Brenta cycle path (Trento - Bassano del Grappa), the Bacchiglione cycle path (Padua - Euganean Hills - Vicenza), the Berica Riviera (Vicenza - Padua), the Tergola route (up to the Brenta Riviera) and it also easily intersects Dolomiti - Venice and AIDA (High Italy to Cross).
