On this section, numerous cultural heritage sites cross our path as we cycle from bath to bath. First, we cycle alongside the built heritage of Nagykároly, then, with the town behind us, the Great Plain landscape opens up before us. In Ady Endre's birthplace village, we can visit the poet's birthplace, then the Ér and Kraszna rivers cross our path. We cycle all the way to the border of the Szilágyság Hills, where we find two thermal baths just a few kilometers apart in Krasznamihályfalva and Ákos. Additionally, we cycle past one of Szatmár County's most significant monuments, the 800-year-old Ákos Reformed Church.
Author’s recommendation
Definitely stop at Ady Endre's birthplace in Érmindszent, as well as at the Ákos Reformed Church.
