Roadbook
The cycle path runs from Heilbad Heiligenstadt station along the spa park and then out of the town towards the Pferdebachtal valley. After a steep climb, you leave the forest and continue to Kalteneber. In the following section from the village of Kalteneber to the former railway embankment in Fürstenhagen, the path runs on the lightly trafficked country road. From the railway embankment, it continues towards Dieterode and then to Rüstungen and Krombach, where the path has some unevenness. A terrain-capable bike is also recommended for the further route to Martinfeld. The path then follows the Rosoppe river initially towards Ershausen and then skirts Geismar before reaching its end point via Großtöpfer.
