Specht-Runde

The bike route starts in the south of Center Parcs Park Allgäu at Frauenzeller Tor. On the one-way signed route, the path first leads to Frauenzell. From there, it goes steeply uphill to the pilgrimage site Gschnaidt. Then downhill over bumpy forest paths to Hinterbrennberg and continues on easily rideable paths to the historic glassmaking village Schmidsfelden. A visit to the museum and the historic glassblower's workshop is worthwhile here! The return route leads via Friesenhofen and Hinznang back to Center Parcs Park Allgäu. This route should only be ridden with a mountain bike. Those who want to ride it with a normal bike should skip the detour to Gschnaidt and ride directly from Frauenzell to Schmidsfelden.
