Bike route with great views through the vineyards and the Rhine plain. The route is a shorter variant of the Rebentour.
The route starts at the church and market square in the center of Bühl. Following the signposting of the Baden Wine Cycle Route, it first goes flat through Bühl to the wine-growing community of Eisental. From here the path moderately ascends into the vineyards to the Baden-Baden district of Neuweier. The path leads right through the vineyards with magnificent views of the Rhine valley and past Neuweier Castle down to Steinbach. From here it continues on flat paths first to Weitenung and then further through beautiful meadows and fields with views of the Black Forest mountains to Vimbuch and finally back to the starting point. The varied route connects the distinctive landscapes of the region, the vines, and the wide meadows.
Author’s recommendation
Make a detour to the Affentaler Winzergenossenschaft right at the start of the route, buy a bottle of Affentaler wine there, and enjoy it during a break in the vineyards!
