The leisurely route through the Riedboden and Hoffeld is very popular with cyclists, as it takes you through the beautiful nature of the Alpenwelt Karwendel. Furthermore, the path always runs along the Isar, where many rest opportunities are available.
The circular route through the Riedboden and Hoffeld begins at the paid parking lot at Waudl. Via the street "Im Schwarzenfeld", Lindlahner- and Riedkopfstraße, cyclists reach the nearby Riedboden area. Through green meadows and partly wooded sections, you reach an Isar bridge at the southern end of the Riedboden. After crossing the bridge and the federal highway 2 (caution!), the return journey through the wide Hoffeld begins on the opposite side. Lindlahnerstraße leads back to the parking lot at Waudl.
Author’s recommendation
At the southern end of the Riedboden, there is an opportunity to visit the neighboring town of Scharnitz with many natural sights, such as the Geisterklamm, the Karwendelsteg, the Adlerkanzel and much more.

Directions
From Munich A95 towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen, then B2 to Krün, alternatively exit Kochel A95 and via the Walchensee the B11 to Krün and then the B2 to Mittenwald. From Innsbruck B177 to Seefeld and Scharnitz and then to Mittenwald.
