Landscape gem Leithaland
This scenically impressive tour is easy to master and leads over perhaps the most beautiful section of the B11 Leitha bike path from Neufeld an der Leitha through Wimpassing an der Leitha to Leithaprodersdorf and back. Hardly any climbs, passing vineyards, avenues, and fields, the overall nearly 30 km long and continuously asphalted path offers undisturbed cycling enjoyment. Excellently signposted, this route is also well suited for beginners and families with children – including a final jump into the popular Neufelder See.

Neufeld an der Leitha
Neufelder See Hotel & Restaurant
Hotel in the best location by the lake. Lunch plates from Monday to Friday, brunch served every Sunday and public holiday.
Wimpassing an der Leitha
Gasthaus Ziegelwerk
In 2019, the couple Julia Weber and Werner Tschiedel opened this remarkable inn in Wimpassing after many years of apprenticeship and travel in the gastronomy industry that even took them to the USA. The Vorarlberg native and the Burgenland native run this equally ambitious, uncomplicated, and friendly inn in a magnificent setting. Great cuisine (two Gault Millau toques), interesting wines, directly on the bike path. Don't pass by!

Leithaprodersdorf
Eder am Spitz
Sympathetic and innovative family business with passion and commitment. In the beautiful, large garden, drinkable rosé and various game specialties taste great – son-in-law Michael is a passionate amateur hunter. A Heuriger for genuine enjoyment.
Winery and Heuriger Liszt
A successful blend of the idea to combine a classic Heuriger and a chic venue with modern cuisine. Whether furnishings, menu, or service: lots of attention to detail.
Winery and Heuriger Menitz
The nearly three hectares of vineyards of the Menitz winery are located on a foothill of the Leithagebirge. Chardonnay and Blaufränkisch grow on sandy, calcareous loam – Merlot, Zweigelt, Grüner Veltliner, and aromatic varieties on clay loam. The white wines mostly mature in steel tanks; only the Chardonnay and part of the red wines are aged in small wooden barrels, while the classic reds mature in large wooden barrels. In the traditional Heuriger with a cozy courtyard, the Menitz family serves homemade dishes and regional specialties – and of course all the wines of the winery.
