You won’t miss out on anything culturally on this ‘KulTour’ – historic mills, legendary megaliths and cult stones, and educational trails line your path. On this route, you cross the border: you make a short visit to the neighboring municipality of Eggermühlen. The historic town center of Fürstenau (www.fuerstenau.de) with the castle built in 1344 is the starting point of the circular route. In Lonnerbecke, you pass the historic oil mill, a unique cultural monument in the Osnabrück region. The route then leads you to Dalum, where you should make a detour to the megalithic tomb. Along the bike path, you go to Bippen, whose history is closely linked to the St. George’s Church. After a short stretch along the country road, you reach the municipality of Eggermühlen with its districts Döthen and Bockraden. Over idyllic paths, you now go to the Wöstenesch water mill (www.heimatverein-eggermühlen.com), a living monument to craftsmanship. The path leads several kilometers through forest and meadows until you reach the idyllic Schwagstorf via the Bippen district Klein Bokern. An equally beautiful stretch leads you past the Boye mill back to the castle and Hanseatic city of Fürstenau.
