The 3B-Land-Route takes you from Bietigheim via Besigheim to Bönnigheim and back to the starting point. Exactly three times B. It starts in the pretty old town of Bietigheim, a few cycling minutes from Bietigheim-Bissingen station.

You ride a fantastic bike path along the Enz. On your left, the little river babbles, while mighty vineyards rise on your right. Along the way, you also encounter a striking remnant of an old railway bridge.

In Besigheim, the Enz flows into the Neckar. You follow the latter up to Kirchheim. From here, it goes a bit uphill to Bönnigheim. There you find many half-timbered houses in the romantic old town and a rococo castle, which stylistically does not really fit the area and is therefore a very special highlight.

Over fields and meadows and through small villages, you finally return to Bietigheim, where you can treat yourself to a glass of wine at the end of the route.

    Author’s recommendation

Do you know what an "I-Kuh" is? No – then ask at the Intelligence Sculpture in the old town of Bietigheim.
There is more memorable and worth seeing along the Enz and Neckar: art collections, the raftsmen's trail – and the castle of the Baroque count Friedrich Stadion, who inspired Sophie von La Roche to write the first female novel. Timber framing is everywhere here, and Besigheim takes you back to the Middle Ages.
