Keuper route (Route 7)

The route starts in Iphofen at the Stadtgraben Ost parking lot. Heading out of town, you pass under the B8. Then you cycle on the "Alten Reichsstraße" towards Markt Einersheim. From there, you cycle down into the picturesque Breitbach valley. In the valley, turn left and stay on the museum path. After the Vogtsmühle and Schwarzmühle, you reach Mönchsondheim. Here, you can visit the farmers' and craftsmen's museum in the fortified church.

You follow the valley to the Herrgottsmühle and then continue cycling to Dornheim. Passing by the two churches, the route leads to Hellmitzheim. You circle the town and continue in a northeasterly direction. Through an underpass, you cross the railway line and cycle alongside the forest to the federal road, which you must cross (caution!). At Waldhof, turn left to reach Possenheim. A magnificent view of the Schwanberg opens up before you. You cycle through a linden avenue to continue to Markt Einersheim.

For the "mountain route" to Birklingen, turn right already before the old town in Markt Einersheim, cross the B8, and head towards the Speckfeld ruins. From Neubauhof, the route gently descends again to Birklingen. Through the "Holzwiesen," you cycle back to Iphofen.
