A fish sandwich at Niendorf harbor is almost a must-do here.

    Safety information

A traffic-safe bicycle and helmet are a prerequisite.

At the cliff edge, please be aware that the edge is crumbly - keep your distance!

    Tips and suggestions

Some routes - especially in the Aalbeek valley - can possibly be shortened by small shortcuts and bridges.

    Roadbook

Starting point is the SeaLife Center! Along the promenade towards the southeast, follow the road to Niendorf, where you take a small detour along the harbor. Here it leads you back to the promenade. You stay on this path for the next few kilometers and are guided along the cliff edge to Travemünde. Via Teutendorf, it goes on to Warnsdorf, where you can take a break at Café Tausendschön. Continuing via Niendorf and the Hermann-Löns-Blick, a path leads you through the green nature reserve around Lake Hemmelsdorf. In Hemmelsdorf, the Fischereihof awaits you, which is also a welcoming locale. Finally, the last part of the route passes by a farm via Klein Timmendorf back to the center and our starting point, which is also our destination.
