Interesting themed cycle path along the Erfa, which meanders largely in a natural state, with information boards about mills in the Erft valley (currently only from Gerichtstetten to the state border with Bavaria, further signage is planned). The cycle path runs from Bürgstadt to Buch.

Caution on the newly gravelled steep sections on the stretch between the state border and Lindenmühle. Generally currently coarse gravel and not yet sufficiently compacted.Roadbook
From Erfeld to the Steinemühle in Hardheim almost entirely asphalted. From the Steinemühle the cycle path runs on gravel forest roads with few asphalted steep sections. The gravel surface is sometimes still very new and poorly compacted, repair work is ongoing. From the state border to Bavaria (Eichenbühl to Bürgstadt) continuously asphalted.
