1940 wurde das mittelschlächtige Wasserrad gegen zwei Turbinen ausgetauscht, mit denen sowohl die Mühle angetrieben als auch Strom für den Eigenbedarf erzeugt wurde. Nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg gab man die Landwirtschaft zugunsten des Mühlenbetriebs auf, stellte auf vollautomatische Arbeitsweise um und erweiterte das Geschäft um Getreidelagerung, Futtermittel und Getreidehandel sowie den Verkauf von Mühlenprodukten im angeschlossenen Mühlenladen.
