    Roadbook

    Elzach-Waldkirch (approx. 14 km)

Start at Elzach station. Into the Elzach new housing development. Over the Yachbach bridge to the sports field. At the Staudenhöfe you can enjoy the panoramic view. From Oberwinden, cycle along the road. If you're in a hurry, the direct connection Niederwinden-Bleibach-Gutach is recommended. More scenic is the "leisure route" along the Elztal railway, past the Silberkönig hotel. In Bleibach, the romantic Simonswäldertal flows into the Elz valley. From the village center to the cyclist bridge over the Elz.

    Waldkirch-Emmendingen (approx. 11 km)
From Waldkirch station to the Batzenhäusle district. The cycle path winds at the foot of the Buchholz vineyards. Shortly before Sexau, you can see the walls of the mighty Hochburg castle ruin on the right in the distance. In the spa town of Sexau, an idyllic forest playground on the outskirts invites you to rest. The Brettenbach accompanies you to Emmendingen, where you reach the heart of the district town on green paths.

    Emmendingen-Riegel (approx. 8 km)
From Emmendingen station to the B3 bypass; over the Elz bridge you reach the Elz dam. Along the Elz towards Teningen.

    Riegel-Rhine (approx. 17 km)
From Riegel town hall through Kehnerstraße to the new development area. On farm roads to the historic center of Endingen. There are many places to stop and much romance. Through the town gate to the district road to Wyhl. On the cycle path to a distinctive crucifix; turn left and on agricultural roads between cherry trees to Königschaffhausen, one of the best-known wine towns of the Kaiserstuhl. Through fields and orchards to the wine village of Sasbach. Through the new development area to Marckolsheimer street, on the cycle path along the floodplain forest to the Rhine.

    Rhine-Sélestat (approx. 17 km)
A modern reinforced concrete bridge swings over the Rhine into Alsace. The route passes the Marckolsheim lock on the Grand Canal d'Alsace and the hydroelectric power plant. Now through the Rhine plain on the D424 past Marckolsheim and Heidolsheim to the D159 - the cycle path is separated from the road by a distinctive marking. Then veer slightly right to Sélestat.
Variant: through Marckolsheim towards Ohnenheim and Heidolsheim on quiet roads. Those who have enjoyed enough culture in the humanist town of Sélestat will find hospitable places to suit every taste.

    Sélestat-Villé (approx. 18 km)
From Sélestat on the D159 towards Kintzheim. Past the amusement park "Park des Cigognes". At the edge of the half-timbered and wine-growing village of Kintzheim, sharply right towards Châtenois. On agricultural roads, the old "Roman Road", at the foot of well-known vineyards to the Chapelle Sainte Croix on the outskirts of Châtenois. From the wine town north along the Route du Vin towards Dambach. Where the D35 branches off to the right towards Scherwiller, sharply left into the Villé valley. On vineyard and forest paths past the foot of the Ortenburg.
