With the towers and gates in view, you reach Isny only to leave it immediately towards Achen. From Rangenhalden, the cycle path first follows the former railway track and then shaded by beautiful old avenue trees to Friesenhofen. Caution is advised when crossing the L318. From Friesenhofen station, the route leads on lightly trafficked secondary roads past the rain overflow basin of the Eschach to Urlau. A visit to the Allgäuer Genussmanufaktur is worthwhile there. The way back leads via Missen and Winnis to Beuren. Shortly before Beuren, the Badsee lake invites you for a cool dip or a short stop at the pizzeria on the campsite. From Beuren to Haubach, it goes fast downhill. Some altitude meters mean you have to pedal up again behind Menzelshofen before you cross the Argen and shortly thereafter reach Neutrauchburg again.
