Round route through the Warnow Valley and to the prehistoric cult and burial site of the Germans.
The round route from Bützow through the Warnow Valley leads you along green forests and extensive fields to the Boitin Stone Dance, the approximately 3000-year-old cult and burial site of the Germans. Commonly called Stone Dance, it consists of a total of four stone circles placed in clearings in the forest. Together with the peace of the forest and the chirping of the birds, you will be captivated by this mysterious place.
Enjoy the fresh forest air before you continue your route to Groß Raden. Upon arrival, you can visit the Archaeological Open-Air Museum there. Here, life and work of the Slavic tribes from more than 1000 years ago are made tangible and experienceable through a faithful replication. After the excursion into Mecklenburg's history, the route takes you through the Warnow back to your starting point: the beautiful small town of Bützow.
