Trip to the most popular bathing lake of the people of Wittenberg, a former open-cast mine in the south of the city
The approximately 34 km long round tour leads first along the well-developed long-distance bike paths R1 and Berlin-Leipzig via Pratau to Bergwitz, then around the lake with bathing opportunities and boat rentals, and back via Eutzsch.

Roadbook
To Bergwitz, route marking R1 and Berlin-Leipzig bike path. From the market go south to Altstadt station, cross the level crossing and B187, then after the pedestrian traffic light turn left towards Bad Düben/Jessen. At the intersection turn right over the Elbe bridge to the roundabout in Pratau, there turn right towards Seegrehna. Follow the bike path signs via Kliztschena to Bergwitz station. Use the underpass and continue straight ahead, then turn right into Waldstraße up to the forest house with information board. Continue right, then left (Strandweg) to the lake with bathing area and snack bar. Keep right and pass the campsite on the asphalt path (R1) to the railway underpass. Leave R1 there and continue on an unpaved forest path. Behind the barrier turn left into the forest over --> Hoffmannshöhe viewpoint to the marina camp. There turn left onto the paved road (Hallesche Straße and Wittenberger Straße) straight ahead on the roadside bike path to Eutzsch. At the entrance to town turn left into Eutzscher Dorfstraße, first street right and then left again on the bike path along B2/B100 to the level crossing, there turn right towards Pratau. In Pratau, at the market square/church turn left through the underpass to the roundabout and over the Elbe bridge back to Wittenberg.
