Alatsee circular route

You start at the Schlossbrauhaus in Schwangau and cycle towards Füssen. Along the way, you pass the spa park and the Kristall Therme. Then continue to Horn, a small district of Schwangau. There you go down a short hill. The next notable point is the Überlandwerk, which crosses over the Lech. You have to push your bike over the weir because cycling is not allowed there.

Then turn left and follow the Lech river to Bad Faulenbach. Here you will see the ski jump hill and the Valley of Senses on the left, a good place for a short break. Follow the road for about 2 kilometers to the Alatsee. After the hotel, keep right, cycle along Burkenbichlberg and arrive at Füssen-West on Kemptener Straße.

From there, continue into the old town of Füssen. Walk to the fountain, turn left into the pedestrian zone, then right at the VR Bank. Via Schrannenplatz you reach Pizzeria La Perla and take the passage there. At the Lila Haus, there is another chance to refresh yourself.

Afterwards, cycle back to Schwangau via the Lech footbridge, through Alterschrofen and past Bullachberg Castle. Along Schlossstraße, a cycle path leads back to Schlossbrauhaus.
