Top variant in one of the quietest corners of the area. At first it looks rather dull, but then a steep slope awaits (Caution: entrance about 40 degrees steep – beware of avalanche danger!). Long powder guaranteed due to the exposure.

Safety information
CAUTION
When skiing the Powder Department Runs you leave the secured ski area! The trails are NOT groomed, NOT secured against avalanches (and other alpine hazards), and are NOT monitored. The Powder Department Runs, like the free ski area, are neither closed nor declared "open".
You act exclusively on your own responsibility and are outside the liability area of the cable car company, which only offers you the open, groomed slopes and ski routes for descent and denies all liability.
MOST IMPORTANT RULES
++ Fresh snow or rain always lead to an increase in avalanche danger.
++ The first nice day after a snowfall is considered particularly accident-prone!
++ Fresh wind slabs are often easily triggered.
++ Rapid, significant warming and/or strong sunshine increase avalanche danger.
++ Poor visibility (fog) not only makes orientation difficult but also the assessment of the avalanche danger situation.
Tips and suggestions
Roadbook
You follow ski route number 40 (Fernau wall) along, at the end of the long flat section you cross right to the adjacent mountainside. Here begins an increasingly wide gully, which leads down to slope 21 (Falwesuna). Cross here directly under the rocks to the right and as high as possible over the moraine ridge (CAUTION: often stony). Now down over the opening dream slope to the middle station Fernau.
DANGERS
The run presents itself especially in the upper section often windblown and therefore rather stony (wear helmet and protectors without fail). Avalanche danger must be considered on the final slope.
