Von der Mischabelhütte (3340hm), welche in ca. 5 Stunden von Saas-Fee (1800hm) erreichbar ist (im oberen Teil Klettersteig (ca. A/B)), steigt man entweder über den Felsengrat oder einem (spaltengefährdeten) Firngrat auf ca. 3600hm zu einem Gletscher. Den flachen Gletscher im rechtsbogen überqueren und aufsteigen in das Windjoch. Von hier über einen Firngrat und oben Kletterstellen bis 2en Schwierigksgrad zum Gipfel des Nadelhorns (4327hm) aufsteigen und über den selben Weg absteigen.
