Follow the path eastwards from the Täschhütte to the beginning of the Alphubel Glacier at about 3300m. Over the glacier (southernmost arm) up to about 3500m. Ascend the steep section over firn/ice into a glacier basin to the next rise, then continue up to the next glacier arm leading to the Alphubeljoch.
At the Alphubeljoch, turn right heading southeast, gently ascending to the Feechopf.

Public transport
From Visp take the Swiss railway towards Zermatt to Täsch station. From there either walk via the Europaweg Hut on the Täschalp to the Täschhütte.
You can also take a taxi service from Täsch up to the Europaweg Hut.
Directions
From Visp in the Rhone Valley follow the cantonal road towards Zermatt/Saas Fee to the roundabout behind Stalden. Turn right here, continue on the cantonal road to the roundabout at Täsch station. From there go a short distance towards Zermatt until just before a stream a road leads left. Follow this road up to the 2nd junction, then turn left and follow the small road steeply uphill to Täschalp (signposted).
Then footpath to Täschhütte.
