La méditerrannée à vélo
Relier les Pyrénées aux Alpes, l’Espagne à l’Italie par les chemins de traverse de la France, voici l’ambition de La Méditerranée à vélo.
Partie française de l’EuroVelo 8, cet itinéraire cyclable traverse onze pays européens du sud de l’Espagne à Chypre. En France, La Méditerranée à vélo parcourt 850 km du Perthus dans les Pyrénées Orientales, à Menton sur la Côte d’Azur.
Tout au long de l'itinéraire s'offre à vous une diversité de paysages remarquables : montagnes des Pyrénées ou des Alpes, étangs de la Narbonnaise, du Languedoc ou de la Camargue gardoise, canaux du Midi ou du Rhône à Sète, arrière-pays provençal et plages du Languedoc, du Roussillon et de la Côte d’Azur.
Il se joint au Canal des Deux-Mers à vélo sur le Canal du Midi, et à la ViaRhôna entre Sète et Beaucaire.
