Échappée Jurassienne
The Jurassian Escape is a long-distance hiking trail crossing two countries: France and Switzerland.
Composed of several marked GR® trails (GR59, GR559, GR5, and GR9), the Franco-Swiss route of the Jurassian Escape allows crossing the Jura Mountains on foot from west to east, transcending borders.
With a total distance of 352 km, a positive elevation gain of 10,800 meters, and a negative elevation gain of 11,400 meters, this extensive itinerary features around twenty stages, representing 18 days of hiking, to be done in one go or in several parts!
