Im Rahmen von
-Balkantour-
unserem montenegrinisch-schweizerischen Familienunternehmen, bieten wir natur– und kulturorientierte Wander, Trekking– und Biketouren sowie naturkundliche Reisen in verschiedenen Ländern des Balkans an. Nebenbei bewirtschaften wir etwas Land mit Garten und halten ein paar Schafe in einem nahen, beinahe verlassenen Bergdorf.

Entdecken:
Zu Fuss, per Boot oder mit dem Velo entdecken wir wunderschöne Naturlandschaften am See, Meer oder in den Bergen. Mit Fernglas oder Lupe beobachten wir
eine interessante und reiche Pflanzen- und Tierwelt mit vielen endemischen Arten,
In Städten und abgelegenen Dörfern entdecken wir Spuren einer reichen und bewegten Geschichten und Kultur
Geniessen:
Eine Bootsfahrt auf dem Skadarsee durch das üppige Grün und die Karstinseln lässt die Seele baumeln. Der tiefblaue See, türkisblaue Flussbecken und das klare Meer locken zum Baden. Panoramawege hoch über dem See oder dem Meer bieten überwältigend schöne Ausblicke. Die Farbenpracht der Blumen im Frühling, mediterrane Düfte und leuchtende Herbstfarben sind ein Fest für die Sinne. Schluchten, bizarre Felslandschaften und weite Hochebenen in den Bergen des Nordens faszinieren und beeindrucken.
Ein Glas Wein, ein kühles Bier oder ein feines Essen an lauschigen Plätzen nach der Wanderung bedeuten Genuss pur.
Begegnen:
Imbisse, ein Kaffeehalt bei Einheimischen oder Übernachtungen in Privatunterkünften ermöglichen vertiefte Einblicke in Kultur, Lebensweise und Alltagsrealität der Bevölkerung. Ebenso wichtig wie der finanzielle Zusatzverdienst sind für die Gastgeber dabei Wertschätzung und Interesse der Gäste an ihrem Leben und Einsatz in einem oft herausfordernden Umfeld. Diese Begegnungen bereichern beide Seiten. Wir sind überzeugt, dass mit einem sanften und mehrtägigen Tourismus in diesen Regionen ein wenn auch bescheidener Beitrag zum Erhalt und zur teilweisen Wiederbelebung geleistet werden kann.
Wir wollen und können aber nicht nur die Sonnenseiten zeigen auf unseren Reisen: nebst all dem Schönen werden wir unterwegs auch konfrontiert mit Zeichen der oft schwierigen wirtschaftlichen, gesellschaftlichen (und politischen) Situation und den Problemen der Randregionen, welche von Abwanderung betroffen sind.
