At just under 200 meters, it's not the longest, but with a start right next to the HEX adventure world, it's a great toboggan run for the whole family.

90 m descent without dismounting, challenging curves. Fun guaranteed - whether with a bobsled or a Davos sled. From the starting point noted here at the small saddle, you can ride to the end without pushing. Finish area sloping out.
Further up, the path is too flat, not worth it.

Sledding with a view. The surface is rough - it needs enough snow. Even then, the ride is bumpy. Works well with toboggans and wooden sleds

I recommend the tour with wooden sleds exclusively for experts (braking, steering). Children are probably only passengers. There should be good snow. All descents (under good conditions) without dismounting or pushing in between. Sledding as fun as it gets.

The toboggan run over the one-kilometer-long track from the Adler rest area to the ski hut at Geiersberg is done in three waves, and with good snow conditions, even further to Rosenkopfstraße.

120 m
This moderately steep but consistently inclined forest road is perfect for a family winter walk followed by a sled ride: 120 meters elevation without pushing. Also suitable for children, as it is never particularly fast. Ideal is a packed, icy snow cover.
Warning: The driving ban for cars is sometimes ignored, but the road is well visible and an oncoming car can be seen from a distance. Still, I recommend an adult as a pathfinder – safety first.
Additionally, sledding can be done on various slopes in the valley

50 m
From Windknollen, I recommend this sledding descent. 50 meters of elevation on a field path. Unlike the west slope, this descent is less steep, less rocky, and the snow lasts longer in the sun. Due to the nature reserve, path usage is mandatory, do not sled over the meadows

with good snow conditions, you can sled from the Blinkerdenkmal over the Steiger to the neighborhood. Caution: Control of the sled is a must here because the forest path leads into the neighborhood street. Unfortunately, it seems that the forest road has recently been cleared of snow, so sledding is unfortunately not possible here. If this is the case, simply switch to the following tours: Sledding at the Napoleondenkmal

Nice toboggan slope with a steep middle section. I would prefer to toboggan here with school-age children, not with the little ones. Gradually descending downwards. Beautiful view of the Jenzig

Toboggan run, which is rolled together with the ski slope. Kiosk for refreshments right next door. Run-out area only conditionally sufficient on hard snow
