From Gunzenhausen, you follow the bends of the Altmühl. It rides like on a plateau, without noticeable inclines on very good bike paths. We take a break in Pappenheim. "I know my Pappenheimers" describes the character of the citizens. In Eichstätt station, it is really steep up to the track.

Where is the heart of Bavaria? A Munich local might have their own opinion on this, but where else is the center of Bavarian lifestyle culture if not where the three Bavarian tribes Bayern, Franken, and Schwaben meet. The circular route leads through the Altmühltal Nature Park along the river valleys of Altmühl, Möhrenbach, and Gailach, through magnificent landscapes, charming villages, and small towns. It is less about a sporting challenge and more a pleasure route for cyclists of all ages - including families with children - who want to explore this region with open eyes.
