The road that from Ponte Arche leads to Passo Durone is not too tiresome and can also be climbed with hard gears, but remember not to overdo it. The slope along the 10 kilometres slightly exceeds 600 meters - from the 405 metres at the start to the 1024 m of the finish line. Continuing downhill for the next 8 kilometres you arrive at Tione, the county town of the Giudicarie valleys.
Over Passo del Ballino and Passo Duron.Two rather little-known passes are climbed on this loop starting at the north shore of Lake Garda: Passo del Ballino and Passo Duron at exactly 1000 meters. Compared to their more prominent brothers in the Dolomites, they seem less spectacular, but this route shows a pleasant, varied, and completely different landscape than the usual one from the lake.

Absolut traumhafte Tour! Wir waren begeistern... wenig Verkehr, vergleichsweise bequeme Anstiege, rauschende Abfahrten und beste Aussichten über fast die gesamte Tour hinweg.
Unbedingt machen!
Tolle Tour über v.a. wenig befahrene Nebenstraßen. Konditionell dank der kurzen Anstiege mit eher moderater Steigung gut zu bewältigen - die letzten 30km durch die "Ebene" können wegen dem nachmittags häufiger auftretenden Südwind allerdings "böse" sein : )
