From Stadtbergen through the Westliche Wälder Nature Park
Just a stone's throw from Augsburg, a hike begins into the quiet, green landscape of the Westliche Wälder Nature Park.
This nearly 15-kilometer circular hike begins and ends in Stadtbergen and leads through the gently rolling landscape of the Westliche Wälder Nature Park. The route follows pleasant paths with a small elevation difference of about 150 meters in gentle ups and downs – ideal for a relaxed but still extensive route.
What makes this hike special is its pleasant balance. It offers pure nature without being strenuous and combines quiet forest sections with wide views over fields and gentle heights. Those seeking peace and a clear mind are exactly right here. It is a route that does not score with spectacular highlights but with its relaxed, soothing atmosphere.
It is possible to stop for a meal either at the end in Stadtbergen or to make a detour to Augsburg's old town!
