Tips and suggestions
At the individual waypoints = points of interest there is further information and hints.
Since this stage is relatively long at about 31 km, it is advisable to perhaps stay overnight before Brilon, especially since the following stage is quite short at just under 19 km.

Obermarsberg - Giershagen - Padberg - Messinghausen - Brilon (outside)
In the field district of Obermarsberg lies an old watchtower, the so-called Mouse Tower. It is the Donnersfeld Watch, which was part of the medieval Marsberg border defense. Outside of Giershagen we reach the Klusk Chapel, which used to be the parish church of the abandoned village Niederupsprunge. In the Marsberg district of Padberg stands the only preserved half-timbered synagogue in Westphalia.
