Beautiful, scenic but also very demanding 3,000-meter route starting at the Gießener Hütte (2,215m), along the Buderus Path by the block glacier to the Mallnitzer Scharte (2,679m) and via the via ferrata to the Säuleck (3,086m). Then always following the Detmolder Ridge, past the Gussenbauerspitze (2,981m) to the Schneewinkelspitze (3,016m), on to the Winkelscharte (2,856m) and back to the Gießener Hütte via the Schwarzburger Path.
