The exhibition has an area of 400 sqm presenting the history of astronomy from the beginnings to date. It provides an insight into the development of telescopes and astronomical navigation, the works of Galilei and Newton, the world of meteorites and the most exciting space missions. Pannon Csillagda is the first and currently the only Ultra HD digital planetarium in Central Europe. The 3D movie is projected onto a hemi-globe shaped dome with a diameter of 8 meters, and together with the 5.1 surround system you are taken on an unforgettable cosmic journey while sitting in IMAX movie seat. The observatory has a telescope park that meets even scientific standards to offer a really close look at space.
