Bakonybél központjában a zirci apátság egykori magtárépülete ad otthont a természetvédelmi és erdészeti gyűjteménynek.

Az Erdők Háza kiállítását két szintre osztották. A földszinti gyűjtemény a természetre fókuszál, a Bakony földtani, földtörténeti érdekességeit, a hegység keletkezését, kőzeteit és ásványait mutatja be. A jellemző növénytársulásokat és a védett növényeket fényképeken láthatjuk, és megismerkedhetünk az erdőmérnökök korabeli munkaeszközeivel is.

Az emeleti teremben a természethez kapcsolódó mesterségek, az erdész, a vadász és a faműves munkáját mutatják be. Az egyik sarkot erdőgondnoki szobának rendezték be, amely Dobó Jenő farkasgyepűi erdőgondnok életművének bemutatásán keresztül ismerteti a digitális világ előtti mérnöki munkát, annak eszközeit, mérőműszereit.

A Bakony vadon élő állatait dioráma tárja elénk, és a tárlaton helyet kaptak Dani Pál naiv festő Bakony ihlette művei.

Nyitva egész évben, csak csoportoknak (10 fő felett), előzetes bejelentkezés alapján.
