Looking up from Klastrompuszta it is obvious why the snow white rock formation was named this way. Towering over its surroundings it boasts a great view over Buda Hills and Gerecse Hills. Due to its protruding shape Pilis on the right and left is also visible.
Broken by tensional tectonic forces blocks rise and subside along the fault line running along the southwestern side of Pilis range. Being a steep slope rock outcrops of limestone here are common creating a view from Gerecse or Buda Hills with a chain of white cliffs. Kémény-szikla sits exactly on that fault line.
