A Pandúr-falu ökopark kilátója BajánPhoto: Martin Edit, Hungarian Hiking Association
Egy árvíz által elmosott falu helyén különös formájú kémlelőtoronyból pásztázhatjuk a Sugovica folyását.
Baja peremén, a Sugovica által határolt Pandúr-sziget északi csücskében alakították ki 2014-ben a Pandúr Ökoparkot, amiben a tanösvény és a mezítlábas park mellett egy kilátót is építettek. A fura formájú, ötszintes toronyból korlátozott panorámát kapunk madárperspektívából Baja peremére, a Sugovicára és a Dunára.
Az ökopark területén bográcsozásra és sütögetésre is alkalmas tűzrakó helyeket, számtalan pihenőpadot és játszóteret, sőt még ingyenes mosdót is találunk, így kiváló helyszín családi kikapcsolódáshoz. A park információs tábláiról a gemenci ártéri erdő élővilágával kapcsolatban tudhatunk meg többet.
A kilátó közelében szabadstrand, csónakkölcsönző, szállás vagy akár finom falatokat is vannak, így jó bázist ad agy vízitúrázáshoz vagy a gemenci ártér felfedezéséhez.
A 'pandúr' elnevezés a valaha itt álló középkori falucskát idézi, aminek házaiban a megáradó Duna többször kárt tett. Az 1779-es árvíz szinte teljesen elmosta a települést, amit ezután már nem építettek újjá, hanem a lakosokat a közeli falvakba telepítették át.

- A buszmegállóból a S jelzésen indulunk keleti irányba, ami a Petőfi-szigeten át a gyaloghídig vezet. Átkelünk a hídon, majd jobbra, a PT jelzésű tanösvény útvonalán jutunk a kiátóhoz (2,4 km, szintemelkedés 14 m).
