Ski slopes and ski resorts in Romania

Having numerous snowboard & ski slopes, Romania can easily qualify as the perfect ski destination for the winter months. The slopes vary in terms of difficulty and length; they are located in dreamy natural settings and are fully equipped with all the necessary facilities. Ski resorts like Poiana Brașov, Predeal, or Sinaia (along the Prahova Valley) are among the most known, sought after, and crowded in the country. Yet, the slopes in Apuseni Mountains, the ski resorts in Maramureș, or the numerous ski areas in Harghita County have just as much to offer, if not more. For sure, there are plenty of places where you can ski in Romania. So pack that equipment and book accommodation in your favorite resort! Don't forget to make some time for a drink in an apres ski.
