The ski area in Arieșeni includes three slopes Vârtop I, Vârtop II and „Piatra Grăitoare”, plus a slope for sledding. This is one of the main skiing areas in Bihor or Alba counties, and the resort is actually situated at the border between the two counties.

Unlike Stana de Vale ski resort, tourists can easily find accommodation places in Arieseni, hence the crowds of skiers that come here in winter.
