Mount Grappa Massif - unusual hiking and snowshoeing
Photo: Mario Briotto, Little Fish Trek
Collection of "Little Fish Trek" routes recorded at all times of the year in the Monte Grappa Massif.
The trails chosen for the spring-summer-autumn seasons only partially follow the numerous and well-known CAI trails.
The selection is oriented on: - trails frequented in the past for extra-hiking reasons (agricultural work-grazing and hunting) and partly even today (of ENEL service) - hiking trails "officially active in the past" and now abandoned or still maintained only by local enthusiasts/associations
The only "100% official" exception is the Alta Via degli Eroi or Alta Via delle pre-Dolomiti No. 8 in its integral version from Feltre to Bassano del Grappa.
The "winter with snow" section demonstrates (amply) that Monte Grappa offers itineraries that are just as beautiful, long and structured as in the more famous and publicized locations.
For those who do not want to spend entire days in the snow, almost all of the proposed snowshoe hikes can be shortened as desired by taking advantage of the mountain's many trails-routes and/or other intermediate starting points.
