Not far from Gotha's city center and surrounded by forests and hiking trails, Gotha Zoo offers a home for over 600 animals. In addition to domestic animal species such as donkeys and goats, numerous exotic species can be admired. Steppendos and Syrian brown bears, for example, visibly feel at home here. No wonder, because the zoo captivates with its natural green areas and intact nature, in which the enclosures blend harmoniously. For a little break in between, the café of the Tierpark Gotha Association invites you to linger over food and drink. There is also an adventure playground and a petting zoo for younger guests.
