Camminare a piedi nudi su materiali naturali come corteccia d’abete, lavanda, pietre, foglie secche, pigne, sabbia e acqua mette in relazione il corpo e la mente.
Il percorso dedicato al barefooting è stato allestito nel giardino della Cascina Il Faggio in borgata Brughiera a Valdilana, lungo la strada Panoramica dell'Oasi Zegna, ed è un bel modo per fare il pieno di energia e per ritrovare la sensazione del camminare a piedi nudi, tanto amata dai bambini che vivono le emozioni senza filtri.
Il percorso è costituito da una serie di ‘stazioni’, ognuna è realizzata con un pavimento naturale fatto di rami, foglie e materiali naturali che provengono dalla cascina e dai luoghi che la circondano e termina con due vasche d’acqua di sorgente in cui fermarsi anche solo 5 minuti per ammirare il panorama sulla Pianura Padana e soffermarsi sulle diverse sensazioni acquisite attraverso le piante dei piedi.
La forza curativa dell'acqua, così importante nel biellese, già sfruttata a fine '800 per il turismo del benessere e fondamentale per le fabbriche tessili per la capacità di non alterare la qualità dei filati più pregiati del mondo. I profumi dell’orto e i suoni della natura aiutano a ritrovare serenità ed equilibrio interiore.
Si può fare barefooting tutti i giorni della settimana, basta prenotare direttamente in cascina.
