Dies ist der ober Standort der Dorfstrasse in Ötlingen. Hier biegt das Markgräfler Wiiwegli von Weil am Rhein kommend, in die Dorfstrasse nach Haltingen runter, ab.
Das Dorf Ötlingen liegt auf einem Seitenriegel des Tüllinger Berges (Rechberg oder auch Käferholzberg). Ötlingen wurde erstmals im Jahre 1064 als Ottlichoven urkundlich erwähnt. Die eng aneinander liegenden Häuser und Höfe zeigen deutlich die Anlage als ein Wehrdorf. Ötlingen war in der Hauptsache ein Freigut der Herren von Rötteln und ihrer Erben. Daneben gab es gab es noch Eigentum und Rechte kleiner Adeliger und verschiedener Klöster.
1971 wurde Ötlingen im Zuge der Gemeindereform nach Weil am Rhein eingemeindet. Auf der Süd- und Südwestseite ist Ötlingen von Weinbergen gesäumt. Nördlich und östlich befinden sich Ackerland und Obstwiesen.
