Várgesztes innenső oldalán egy 2000-ben kialakított horgásztó terül el a szikla alatt, a túloldali erdőrengetegben pedig kiszúrhatjuk a Gesztesi vár kockaépületét.
A kilátópontot hordozó dolomitformáción sziklamászó utak is találhatók.

- A buszmegállóból a Kéktúra K jelzését kell követnünk, amely a falu főutcáját kíséri, majd a település végén jobbra fordul, hogy a tó gátján átkelve felkapaszkodjon a hegytetőre. Az emelkedő sziklás részének tetején jobbra, a K▲ jelzésre kell váltanunk, ez vezet ki a Zisgmond-kőre (1,2 km, 97 m szintemelkedés).
