Der Aufstieg zur Uhusley ist von meterhohen Douglasien am Wegesrand gesäumt.
Wenn man die grünen Nadeln des ursprünglich in Nordamerika heimischen Baumes zerreibt, verströmen sie einen aromatischen, zitronenartigen Duft. Von der Uhusley aus bietet sich ein schöner Blick auf das dichtbewaldete Tal der Rur. Der Felssporn verdankt seinen Namen übrigens dem Uhu, der seine Nester in die Felsspalten baut.
