The surrounding trail is known for its demanding terrain, including wooden stairways fixed into rock faces, narrow passages, and sections exposed above the gorge. The route between Borino and Yagodina follows the edge of the canyon through dense forest, offering continuous views of the steep cliffs and river below. Due to its physical difficulty and exposure, the trail is often described as one of the most extreme hiking paths in Bulgaria, requiring careful movement and a head for heights.

Borino is accessible by regional bus services from nearby mountain towns such as Smolyan and Devin, which serve as the main transport hubs for the Western Rhodopes. Connections may involve transfers depending on the starting location, as public transport in the region is limited. The Devil’s Bridge is located along the Devil’s Path trail between Borino and Yagodina. From Borino village centre, travellers should follow the road towards the designated trail entrance near Chitak dere. From there, the route continues on foot through forested terrain and marked sections of the eco trail until reaching the gorge area where the rock arch is situated. The bridge is encountered as one of the central viewpoints along the hiking route.Parking
