From the top, you can see the Steinhuder Meer (north), the Deister in the northeast, to Kleiner Deister and Nesselberg in the east, to Ith in the southeast, to Vogler and Solling in the south-southeast, to Hameln in the valley of the Weser and to Köterberg in the south, to Lipper Bergland in the southwest, to Wesergebirge in the west and to Bückeberg in the northwest; in good visibility conditions, the view extends as far as about 94 km (as the crow flies) away Brocken in Harz (south-east).
