Die Landschaft als lebendige Kinoleinwand im Remstalkino Weinstadt.

Die größte Rebfläche im Remstal, eines der schönstens Fachwerkdörfer Deutschlands, Geburtsort von Friedrich Silcher, das traditionsreichste Kirbefest der Region, weit über die Region hinaus bekannten Weinfeste wie die „Nacht der Keller“, und schließlich: die Wiege des Herzogen- und Königsgeschlechts der Württemberger - die Große Kreisstadt Weinstadt kann sich mit einer Reihe von Auszeichnungen schmücken. Seit der Remstal Gartenschau 2019 genießen zwei weitere Höhepunkte einen fulminanten Ruf bei den Besuchern: die 105 GRAD OEX – Sunset Lounge im Weinberg, einer Open-Air-Wein- und Chill-Lounge auf der Aussichtsplattform Luitenbächer Höhe erlangte mit ihren grandiosen Aussichten ins Remstal und der einzigartigen Atmosphäre inmitten der Weinberge schnell den Beinamen „Sylt des Remstals“. Ruhiger, aber nicht minder spektakulär, lädt das Remstalkino auf einem Bergsporn über dem Stadtteil Beutelsbach zum Verweilen ein – Kinoleinwand ist die Landschaft des Unteren Remstals zwischen den Hängen des Schurwalds und des Schwäbischen Waldes im Lichtspiel der Tageszeiten.

Sowohl die Luitenbächer Höhe in den Weinbergen Großheppachs als auch das Remstalkino in den Weinhängen über Beutelsbach sind als gestaltete Aussichtspunkte besondere Beispiele für gelungene Landschaftsarchitektur und entstanden im Rahmen der Remstalgartenschau 2019.

Kastanienholz, Stubensandstein, Messing, aber die Wärme von Cortenstahl und die Nüchternheit von Edelstahl, - „Im jahreszeitlichen Farbenspiel der Weinberge verwandeln sich die in Ihrer ureigenen Materialität belassenen „Werkstoffe“ wieder zu „Rohstoffen“ und damit einem selbstverständlichen Teil der Natur selbst“, sagt der bei beiden Projekten federführende Weinstädter Architekt Martin Bühler.


Weinsüden Architektur

Die Auszeichnung „Weinsüden Architektur“ wird gemeinsam mit der Architektenkammer Baden-Württemberg an Bauwerke vergeben, die Wein, Architektur und Tourismus miteinander vereinen. Die architektonischen Anforderungen umfassen unter anderem einen originären Charakter, Zeitlosigkeit, eine Reaktion auf das städtebauliche Umfeld sowie die Wahl der Materialien. Die touristischen Anforderungen umfassen unter anderem einen engen Bezug zum regionalen Weinbau, regelmäßige Öffnungszeiten sowie einen Erlebnischarakter. Neben Weingütern, Vinotheken oder Weinmuseen können auch Weinwanderwege oder Wein-Aussichtspunkte die Auszeichnung erhalten.

Das Remstalkino ist nur zu Fuß über den Weinberg erreichbar. Einen Parkplatz gibt es nicht.
