An exciting 360° panoramic view over the Palatinate Forest is offered by the Rehbergturm. The viewpoint is located in the Palatinate Forest between Annweiler am Trifels and Waldrohrbach. It is public and accessible at any time.
From here, there is a breathtaking panoramic view of the three castles Trifels, Anebos, and Scharfenberg (Münz), as well as the Wasgau extending into Alsace, the Palatinate Forest, and the Rhine Valley.
On-site, there is a table with benches for resting and picnicking.
For parking, the Rehberg parking lot at Trifelsstraße near Annweiler am Trifels is recommended.
Passing by the Rehbergturm is the Richard Löwenherz trail and the tower and rock trail.
Our tips for picnicking:
Please pack out your trash after the picnic, as we want to preserve the beautiful nature for everyone! Please note that grilling and campfires are not permitted at the picnic spots.
