Az érdi szabadidőpark – amit említenek érdligeti szabadidőparknak, záportározónak, városligetnek is – 2019-ben létesült záportározóval jött létre. A terület elsődelgesen vitatható vízgazdálkodási szereppel bír, a felszíni csapadékvíz-elvezető rendszer elemeként a Sulák-patak és a Diósdi-árok mesterséges felduzzasztásával árvízcsökkentő műtárgy. Fontos cél volt, hogy a tavat és a környékét a lakosok és látogatók is használhassák, ezért egy növényekben gazdag városligetben megbújó többfunkciós szabadidőparkot álmodtak ide a tervezők.
