On the outskirts of Ranschbach, not far from the Wine Route, there is a beautiful rest area. From the picnic spot "Beautiful Wine View," the view extends over Ranschbach towards the Haard edge up to the Anna Chapel near Burrweiler.
Picnic in Nature
Whether on a hike or a bike tour: a picnic in the open air is a special experience – especially with regional specialties from the Palatinate! To keep nature as untouched as possible, please only use designated rest areas. In forests and vineyards, there are often no trash bins, in order to not attract wildlife and to keep the landscape clean.
Therefore, the rule is: everything you bring should also be taken back with you. Food scraps and packaging can be dangerous for animals and can take decades to decompose. Dispose of your waste responsibly and protect the unique nature of the Palatinate!
