Langenrain, ein Ortsteil von Allensbach, 535 m über dem Meer gelegen.

1273 erstmals erwähnt, kann der Ort auf eine teilweise recht bewegte Geschichte zurückschauen. Im Hof des Gräflich von Bodmanschen Schlosses trafen sich einst badische Revolutionäre der 1848er Revolution, die unter der Führung von Friedrich Hecker von Konstanz aus ihren Anfang nahm. Neben dem 1648 erbauten zweistöckigen Barockschloss, befindet sich die barockisierte spätgotische Kirche St. Joseph, die 1995 aufwendig restauriert wurde. Der ehemalige Wachturm "Sophienruhe", der früher zur Beaufsichtigung der Weinberge diente, bietet eine schöne Aussicht auf die Hegauberge.

Heute stehen Räumlichkeiten für Veranstaltungen der Öffentlichkeit zur Verfügung, www.schloss-langenrain.com

Am Europa-Fernwanderweg gelegen, Nähe Naturschutzgebiet Mindelsee, Premiumwanderweg SeeGang, Schloss Langenrain, Golfplatz, Privatzimmer, Ferienwohnungen.
